The Original Re-enactors Market- TORM, 11-13 November 2016 in Coventry

Today we went to Coventry to see some friends at TORM- The original Re-enactors Market, also found at Facebook here.

The TORM market was held in a sports center nearby Coventry.  2 big halls filled with reenactment items from the roman period to WWII. Fabric, pins, ceramics, clothes, books, hats, lanterns, furnitures, leather, shoes, tents, tiles among other things. We were happy to see that this market was filled with crafts people selling their crafts. Not just traders selling random things. This gave us the opportunity to talk the crafts person and we could ask questions and get a lot of super interesting information about the item, the process and the sources.

We are really glad that The Sempster, Christine Carnie, asked us to come to TORM. We spent 4 hours at the market and we are sure that we will come back again. Next time with more money and we are now thinking of how we could arrange a reenactment market in Sweden…
